About Seamus Lynch

Seamus LynchSeamus originally trained as an architect, graduated from UCD with an honours degree and worked in that field for many years. He also studied acting at the Focus theatre Stanislavski studio and worked as an actor and director in the fringe theatre in Dublin for seven years (’77 – ’83).

While living in London in the late ‘80s he had health problems for which he sought alternative treatments, including acupuncture, and subsequently decided to train as an acupuncturist at the college of Traditional Acupuncture UK which specialises in 5 Element acupuncture. He graduated in ‘93 and returned to Dublin to set up practice. While living in London he also studied Indian Head Massage with Mr. Narendra Mehta.

He became a certified Zero Balancer in ‘95 and completed a teacher awareness programme with the Yoga of the Heart (now Inner Yoga Trust) school in ‘99. As well as practicing as an acupuncturist and zero balancer he has been teaching weekend courses in Indian Head Massage throughout Ireland and in Northern Ireland since ’94. He created a workshop based on the 5 Elements in ’03, which he has taught both in Ireland and the UK.

Seamus has recently trained in Austria in the F. X. Mayr system of healing through diet and it is now offered as part of his practice.

Seamus is a member of ARCHTI (Association of Registered Complementary Health Therapists of Ireland) and is on its advisory panel.
